Toptides.com was created in 2009 as an experiment. The experiment grew as I continued developing it. I dedicate a small part of my time to work on it, as you might notice it is not complete. I only have limited time to add on, but your ideas and input are important to me. I love the beach and I personally check the accuracy of the tide chart every time I have a chance to visit a new spot. I have been able to verify many locations in my state Massachusetts. However I strongly recommend, that you reference another source if you are out in the open waters. Toptides does not guarantee the accuracy of the information. Please be aware of other conditions that may have affected the results (hurricanes, storms, beach dynamics can alter the nature of the beach and thus the tide). This information is intended to serve a wide group of beach goers, enjoying fun activities on the beach.

I am open for suggestions, comments, critisizm and ideas. You are welcome to voice your opinion in what you might like to see on it and how to make it most useful for users. I will most likely be unable to satisfy every single request, but if I find it reasonable, I will program it. I plan on keeping this website free of charge for all users, because I grew tired of seeing messy tides websites and would like to be able to contribute as much as I can.
